With over 25 years of professional consulting experience, Steve has served as Senior Geologist, Senior Technical Manager, and Regional Office Manager for national and international environmental consulting firms. Dr. Speyer is an accomplished forensic geologist with a great deal of experience with diverse contaminants in soil, groundwater, and fugitive dust settings. He has completed detailed assessments and site characterizations and consulted for a broad client base, including heavy industry, mining operations, real estate, and governmental entities. Steve has completed large scale SPCC and Emergency Response Plans, general and point-source NPDES permits and monitoring, wastewater discharge permitting and permit maintenance. He also has over 30 years of experience as an educator, and is currently serving as Adjunct Professor for Estrella Mountain Community College, and is a registered Professional Geologist in the State of Arizona.
Norm Weiss has over 35 years of professional experience. He formerly served as Assistant Director with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) where he directed statewide programs for hazardous waste, emergency response, and toxic site remediation. Prior to opening his current practice, Mr. Weiss served as a Managing Senior for two national environmental consulting firms. He holds several professional designations and is a Certified Environmental Manager in Nevada. He is also a Seminar Instructor at the Ira Fulton Schools of Engineering, at Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus.

Brad has worked for the firm since 2015. He has extensive lab experience including working in a soil lab and inorganic chemistry lab. He has assisted in various hazardous materials training programs for several years at the ASU's Office of Environmental Technology and maintains several hazardous materials certifications. Brad also has industrial experience in wastewater sampling and analysis, RCRA Subpart BB air monitoring and support in rendering waste determinations.
Richard has worked with the firm since 2011. He has gained diverse experience working with large manufacturing facilities on various EHS programs. Richard has coordinated with stakeholders across several departments to audit, refine, and improve compliance records. He has assisted in the development and revision of compliance reports and plans including; Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Toxic Release Inventory, refrigerant management, equipment safety procedures and facility risk assessments.
Karika has worked with the firm since 2009. She has experience managing environmental compliance programs in large manufacturing facilities such as; 112r General Duty Clause, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure, chemical audits, hazard assessment, process equipment decontamination approvals, and hazardous waste equipment inspections and monitoring. Karika has performed extensive scientific research on topics including; water treatment, materials science, U.N. Minimata Convention on Mercury, and emergency communications. A skilled technical writer, Karika has authored and co-authored numerous published scientific articles and technical reports.
